Mobile wapsi movement is being carried by Anganwadi workers in Maharashtra. The workers of the Anganwadi Workers' Union protested in front of the Department of Women and Child Development in Mumbai's Chembur. In 2018, under the nutrition campaign, Panasonic phones were given to the Anganwadi workers so that the data found could be recorded on the nutrition tracker app and hi-tech facilities were predominant, but the phones given by the government soon got damaged due to poor quality.
