Now students will not be able to go to government colleges in Madhya Pradesh wearing jeans and t-shirts. Students will now have to go to college only in uniforms. The Mohan Yadav government of the state has decided to implement a dress code in government colleges from this session. For this, the Higher Education Department has given the responsibility of selecting uniforms to the college management. Under the dress code, male and female students will come wearing pants and shirts and female students will come wearing salwar-kurta. The Education Department says that uniforms in college will create a sense of uniformity and equality among students. There will be no difference between rich and poor and religion and caste. Also, students will develop more interest in education.
