Modi Govt makes amendments to Maintenance & Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007

The Government has made amendments in the Maintenance & Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. As per the changes made, now taking care of senior citizens is not the sole responsibility of son or daughter. After a mishap, the Daughter-in-law and Son-in-Law will have to take care of the senior citizens. Watch this news report to know how the amendments have made this law more strict.
