Mehul Choksi granted interim bail by Dominica court on grounds of deteriorating health condition

Fugitive diamond merchant Mehul Choksi was granted interim bail by a Dominica court on Monday on health grounds. Choksi has been living in Antigua and Barbuda since 2018 after absconding from India. He went missing and was arrested in neighboring Dominica on May 23 for illegal entry. He was apprehended from Dominica where he was arrested for illegal entry and is facing court proceedings.
