Mamata Banerjee to contest by-polls from Bhowanipore seat after Sovandeb Chattopadhyay's resignation: Sources

According to sources, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee can contest from her traditional seat, Bhowanipore . MLA from Bhowanipore,  Sovandeb Chattopadhyay is going to submit his resignation today. In the assembly elections, Mamata left her Bhowanipore seat and contested from Nandigram against Suvendu Adhikari, in which she had to face defeat. If sources are to be believed, then TMC may send Chattopadhyay to the Rajya Sabha.
