It has become a difficult situation for Shiv Sena. On one hand, Uddhav Thackeray has the support of his remaining MLAs and Shiv Sena supporters. On the other hand, Eknath Shinde and his team of rebel MLAs have their support group and the support of the BJP.
The BJP is reportedly carefully observing the situation in Maharashtra and will take appropriate steps when the time will be right.
