Lt. General Manoj Mukund takes charge as new Army Chief

Lieutenant General, Manoj Mukund Naravane takes over as the next chief of Army staff. General Naravane, who was serving as vice chief of the Army, succeeds General, Bipin Rawat appointed the country's first Chief Of Defence Staff, a post created to bring in operational convergence among the three services. Manoj Mukund is 28th Army Chief of the nation. Watch this news report.
