Yogi Adityanath Meets Mohit Pandey's Family, Announces ₹10 Lakh Compensation and Free Education for Children

In the case of Mohit Pandey's death while in police custody in Chinhat, Lucknow, his family and various political parties staged significant protests demanding accountability from the police. Following the uproar, actions were taken against the accused officers and their superiors. On Monday, Mohit’s family met with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, accompanied by his wife, children, and mother, along with local MLA Yogesh Shukla. During the meeting, the Chief Minister announced immediate financial assistance of ₹10 lakh for the bereaved family and pledged to provide housing. He also directed officials to ensure that the family receives benefits from various government schemes, including free education for Mohit’s children. This response highlights the government's commitment to addressing community grievances and supporting families in crisis.
