Why not reduce VAT on fuel in Congress-ruled states: JDU

JDU spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan has said that Congress' protest on fuel price hike seems hollow as they are protesting only for the sake of protest. Ranjan contended that if Congress was serious about reducing oil prices than it would have reduced VATs at least in the states where it is directly on power or in the government in the alliance partner.

Modi government has been facing criticism on all sides for past few days as oil prices continue to mount for 19 straight days.
