West Bengal: TMC worker attacked in West Midnapore, BJP leaders assaulted in Hooghly

Political violence has been a blot in West Bengal's politics for a long time. There have been reports of attacks on BJP and Trinamool workers. Recently, returning from a meeting in West Bengal's Hooghly district, BJP leader Shantanu Paul and BJP District Minority Morcha member Sheikh Ali were attacked with chilli powder and they were beaten as well. Similarly, a TMC worker returning from a meeting of Trinamool leader Dola Sen in West Midnapore was attacked.
