West Bengal: People flout social distancing in markets

The entire nation is under lockdown till May 3 to combat the deadly virus. Social distancing is an important step for containing this virus. Amid lockdown, visuals from various markets in West Bengal show people violating the social distancing norms. People thronged the markets in large numbers to purchase essential items. Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases continue to rise in the country. So far India has reported 14378 COVID-19 cases.
