West Benga: ED Attaches Shahjahan Sheikh’s Rs 14-Crore Property | ABP News

View In AppThe Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday provisionally attached property worth more than Rs. 14 crore belonging to former Trinamool Congress member Shahjahan Sheikh under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. He is also accused in the Sandeshkhali case.
Earlier, the ED had raided various locations related to him multiple times and attached assets valued at more than Rs. 15 crore.
Sheikh Shahjahan's two brothers, Alamgir and Shirajuddin, along with a close associate, Shiv Prasad Hazra, had their properties and bank accounts attached as well. Action has been taken against these individuals for land grabbing under the PMLA. The ED had attached 14 immovable properties and two bank accounts of the former TMC leader at that time. The attached properties included apartments, agricultural land, land and buildings in village Sarberia, Sandeshkhali and Kolkata.
