Weather Update: Delhi To See Heavy Rains In The Upcoming Week, Wind Storm Likely | ABP News

Rain In India: In many states of the country, first the scorching heat and now the heavy rains are making the condition of the people miserable. In the last two-three days, there have been reports of deaths of many people in different parts of the country including Delhi. Due to heavy rains in Lonavala area of ​​Pune in Maharashtra, 5 people drowned in waterfall near Bhushi Dam, which includes a woman and 4 children. Police and rescue team have recovered 2 bodies. All the five people who drowned in the waterfall are residents of Pune Syed Nagar. All these people are from the same family. Many areas of Gujarat received heavy rains on Sunday (June 30), due to which normal life got disrupted due to waterlogging in some cities including Ahmedabad and Surat. Palsana taluka of Surat district received 153 mm rainfall in just ten hours, which is the highest rainfall in the state. Heavy rains in Delhi on June 28, 2024 caused waterlogging in many areas including VIP. The number of deaths in rain related incidents in Delhi has increased to 11.
