Both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha are anticipated to see significant disruptions, as several parties, including the Samajwadi Party, have already expressed strong opposition. The Waqf (Amendment) Bill proposes renaming the Waqf Act, 1995, to the ‘Unified Waqf Management, Empowerment, Efficiency, and Development Act, 1995’.
