Notorious gangster Vikas Dubey was gunned down in an encounter with Uttar Pradesh police after he tried to escape police custody on the outskirts of Kanpur. The gangster was in a car in which he was being transported from Ujjain to Kanpur which met an accident. Dubey tried to take advantage of the situation, snatched a pistol from the injured cop and tried to run away.
