Uttarakhand: Fierce fire breaks out in coach of Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express, no injuries reported

A massive fire broke out in one of the bogies of the Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express on Saturday morning due to a short circuit. The mishap occurred in the C4 compartment of the train between Raiwala and Kansrao stations at around 12:20 pm following which, the eighth coach had to be detached from the rest of the train during the journey. According to the reports, a total of 35 passengers were safely evacuated from the affected coach to another bogie.
