The state government rescued 87 stranded people in Shravasti and Kushinagar after Nepal's torrential rains released over 5 lakh cusecs of water. Eleven people were evacuated in Shravasti and 76 in Kushinagar. Following CM Yogi Adityanath's orders, authorities conducted relief operations, saving lives. In Shravasti, 400 villagers from 18 villages were relocated to safer areas, while stranded cattle were rescued in Kushinagar.
