India to procure S-400 missiles from Russia by the end of year

India currently has Akash missile for short range, which has a range of about 25 km and has MRSAM for medium range. India is procuring S-400 missiles from Russia for long range ie 400 km, which is likely to be received by the Air Force by the end of this year.
