BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga was detained on Friday morning by the Punjab Police on accusations of uttering provocative statements, fostering enmity, and criminal intimidation from his residence, amid dramatic circumstances that brought in police from three states and led to a BJP-AAP brawl. Bagga was handed five summonses to join the inquiry, according to Punjab Police, but he did not comply and did not show up. According to the Punjab Police, Bagga was arrested after a case was filed against him in Mohali.
