The court had previously directed the consolidation of these petitions and set a hearing for July 8. The vacation bench will also address the National Testing Agency's (NTA) request to transfer related cases from various high courts to the Supreme Court.
The NEET-UG 2024 exam has been controversial since its May 5 administration, with issues such as alleged paper leaks, delays at exam centers, OMR sheet tampering, exam malpractices, and incorrectly framed questions. The NTA, which conducted the exam, faces multiple allegations and legal challenges. Over 2.4 million students participated in the exam nationwide.
