As per the latest reports, India has witnessed more than 15000 cases and 507 deaths due to the deadly coronavirus. Meanwhile, 2231 COVID-19 patients have recovered. Out of these cases, 30% are related to Tablighi Jamaat. At a daily media briefing about the COVID-19 situation in the country, Union health ministry's joint secretary Lav Agarwal said, ‘a total of 4,291 COVID-19 cases or 30 percent of the 14,378 coronavirus infections reported till Saturday morning are linked to the Tablighi Jamaat congregation.’
