In a press conference, Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the Delhi Government needs Rs 7000 crore as it is in financial trouble. Sisodia alleged that Centre has not given any sort of financial assistance to Delhi, not even from the SDRF fund.
He has asked the Modi government to release funds so that Delhi government employees can be paid. Sisodia further added that he has written a letter the Union Finance Minister to inform about the situation.
