The committee includes engineers, IIT experts, and naval officers. A press release from the Chief Minister's Office issued after midnight stated that the government has established this committee to create a grand statue fitting the warrior king's legacy. Earlier, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde presided over a meeting at his official residence, Varsha, in South Mumbai with senior ministers, bureaucrats, and naval officers. The decision to form the committee was made following this meeting.
