Shashi Tharoor's PA Held By Customs At Delhi Airport For Smuggling Gold From Dubai | ABP News

Delhi customs officials said on Thursday that they have arrested the personal assistant of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor at the IGI airport in the national capital after he was allegedly caught smuggling gold from Dubai.

The personal assistant was identified as Shiv Kumar Prasad. He was caught with 500 grams of gold. The Times of India reported, citing custom sources.

According to ABP News sources, the Customs Department caught the Congress MP’s assistant while he was taking the handover of gold brought from abroad from one of his men.

Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor is a Lok Sabha candidate from Thiruvananthapuram.
