NIA has started preliminary investigation in Sandeshkhali case. Sources told on Tuesday (February 20, 2024) that FIR can be registered in this matter soon. (BJP) Subhendu Adhikari was given permission by the Calcutta High Court to go to Sandeshkhali. Earlier, the police had stopped him from leaving, after which he sat on strike. Before leaving Sandeshkhali, they had said that they will be stopped from going but after the order of the High Court, they are going there, while Vrinda Karat said – TMC is committing hooliganism.
