Karnataka: Congress MLCs in Karnataka Assembly forcefully remove the chairman of the legislative council. Marshals were called in for the rescue. Proceedings of the house were then postponed indefinitely. Debate was going on over the Prevention of Slaughter and Preservation of Cattle Bill in the Assembly when the incident occurred.
