Regiments belong to the nation, not to a state: Sanjay Raut on Bihar Regiment controversy

Speaking to ABP News, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said that any army regiment irrespective of its name belongs to a nation and not a particular state. He also said each regiment has people from different parts of the country so why attribute sacrifice of Bihar Regiment only to the state of Bihar? Earlier, in a sharp critique of Narendra Modi government, Shiv Sena's mouthpiece Saamana has accused Modi government of promoting factionalism and regionalism in the Indian Army.
