Rajya Sabha ruckus: 8 MPs suspended for a week
Eight members of parliament have been suspended for a week for causing uproar and ruckus in the Upper House (Rajya Sabha) over the introduction of farm bills by the Narendra Modi government. The decision was taken by the Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu.
Earlier, the no-confidence motion which was moved by 46 opposition leaders against Deputy Chairman Harivansh was rejected too.
