Two people died in Dungarpur district due to violent recruitment of teachers. In view of the constant tension in the district, the state government has demanded a Rapid Action Force from the Center. On the instructions of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, three senior IPS officers have been sent to Udaipur and Kherwara by helicopter late at night.
In Dungarpur district, there has been a movement since the last 20 days to demand the filling of 1167 vacant posts from ST candidates under Teacher Recruitment 2018.
