Raja Raghuvanshi Murder: Wife Sonam Had Two Sinister Plans, Honeymoon Turned into Chilling Crime Scene
The murder mystery of Raja Raghuvanshi, which occurred during a supposed honeymoon trip, is slowly unraveling — and each revelation is more chilling than the last. Sonam, his wife, is now emerging as the key conspirator in the case. According to police sources, Sonam had not one but two separate plans to kill her husband.Plan A was to disguise the murder as a robbery — a staged loot incident during the trip. But Plan B was more disturbing: Sonam allegedly planned to push Raja off a cliff under the pretext of taking a selfie, making it look like an accidental fall.As per ABP News’ on-ground investigation, Sonam had meticulously chosen a deserted and difficult trekking route to the Double Decker Bridge in Cherrapunji, avoiding the easy tourist paths. Local witnesses confirmed that on May 22, the couple parked their scooty and opted for the tougher path. The couple stayed that night at Shipra Homestay, in Room No. 4 — where only Raja's name was entered in the register, further hinting at premeditation. On May 23, Raja was murdered. Police believe Sonam had also called hired killers to Cherrapunji and they were trailing the couple throughout. A local guide reportedly saw Sonam, Raja, and three unidentified men speaking together on the trail before the incident. The path leading to the crime scene involved nearly 4,000 steps through a dense jungle — a route chosen likely to ensure fewer witnesses. Despite regulations requiring trekkers to register and pay fees, Sonam and others used fake names or skipped documentation entirely, raising more suspicions. This murder appears to have been a cold, calculated act carried out under the guise of a romantic vacation — with Sonam playing the central role in the horrifying plot.
