Punjab DIG Jakhar resigns from his post in support of Farmers' protest

Responding to the Farmers' Call, the DIG of Punjab LS Jakhar has resigned from his post. Jakhar is the First Officer who has resigned from his post in support of the agitating farmers.

Farmers are still adamant about their demand to repeal the agricultural laws. They gathered at the 'toll plazas' of highways in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan on Saturday.
