Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi once again raised issues related to loco pilots on Sunday. Rahul said that the 'India' alliance will raise its voice in Parliament for improving their rights and working conditions. Rahul Gandhi has posted a video on 'X' of his recent conversation with a loco pilot at New Delhi railway station. The Congress MP said that the train of life of a loco pilot has completely derailed under the Narendra Modi-led government. He said that the loco pilot is being forced to work for 16-16 hours sitting in the cabin sweltering with heat. Rahul Gandhi said in a post that those on whose trust crores of lives depend have no confidence in their own lives. Deprived of even basic facilities like 'urinal', loco pilots neither have any limit on working hours nor do they get leave. Due to this, they are becoming physically and mentally broken and falling ill. The Congress leader said that in such circumstances, having the loco pilot run the train is putting his life and that of the passengers at risk. Gandhi said that the 'India' alliance will raise its voice in Parliament to improve the rights and working conditions of loco pilots.
