Patiala court in no mood to issue fresh death warrant, cries Asha Devi
After a Delhi court on Wednesday offered Pawan Gupta, one of the four death row convicts in the Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case, legal aid after he said that he does not have a lawyer, Asha Devi, Nirbhaya's mother cried and left the court.
Asha Devi after the court was adjourned said that the court is in no mood to issue a fresh death warrant to the convicts. "The judge does not want to fix a date for hanging the convicts and is supporting them. I appeal to the Supreme Court to issue the death warrant as the Patiala House Court is in no mood to issue a fresh death warrant," said Asha Devi.
