View In AppImran Khan, Pakistan's embattled prime minister, issued a strict directive to his party lawmakers on Tuesday, instructing them to either abstain or not attend the National Assembly session on the day of the vote on the no-confidence motion against him, which is expected to take place in the first week of April. The orders come a day after Pakistan's opposition filed a no-trust motion against Khan in the National Assembly on Monday. Khan is facing his greatest political test since taking office in 2018, with defections in his party and splits in the ruling coalition putting his position in jeopardy.
