Padma Bhushan: Former Bengal CM Buddhadeb Bhattacharya refuses to accept award

Former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya has opted to reject the central government's Padma Bhushan award.  On the eve of Republic Day, Bhattacharya was named as one of the recipients of the Padma Bhushan award. He won the award for his contribution to "public affairs" as a "veteran political leader and former Chief Minister of West Bengal."
