View In AppAfter the NEET 2024 results were announced, concerns arose about the fairness of the process, particularly regarding top scorers and the allocation of extra marks. This led to student protests in Kanpur and Bhopal, where students demanded transparency and accountability in the examination system. As these protests continue and calls for transparency rise, the credibility of NEET UG 2024 and the entire medical entrance exam process in India are facing serious questions. The NEET exam results were released June 4, 2024 but there's been a lot of commotion in Kanpur about the NEET 2024 results. Hundreds of NEET students in Kanpur protested on the streets yesterday, June 7, 2024, raising doubts about the marks of the students who passed. They claimed that 69 students scored a perfect 720 out of 720 marks and questioned how this could be possible. In response to the incident, Kakadev police officials arrived at the scene, where they tried to calm down the protesting students. Still, the students remained determined in their demands and expressed their anger through the demonstration. In this matter, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Central, RS Gautam, has informed that all students have been calmed down, and their demands will be forwarded to the authorities through proper channels. The students have also been assured that their concerns will be considered.
