The new law of the Central Government will be applicable against those who leak examination papers and tamper with the answer sheets. Under this law, the culprits may have to face at least 3-5 years in jail and a fine of up to Rs 10 lakh. People involved in organized crime can be sentenced to 5 to 10 years in prison. Along with this, a fine of at least Rs 1 crore can also be imposed. This law will help in stopping organized crime and punishing criminals. In this law, exemption has been given to children appearing in competitive examinations. The purpose of this bill is to stop those who are playing with the children and the future of the country by rigging. According to reports, the anti-paper leak law could be a positive step that will help in ensuring fairness and honesty of the examinations.
