Sydney Terror Attack: Death Toll Rises to 16, 40 Injured, Suspects Identified

The death toll in the Sydney terror attack has risen to 16, while more than 40 people are reported injured, several of them critical. Australian authorities have officially declared the incident a terrorist attack and intensified investigations. The attack occurred during Hanukkah celebrations, when members of the Jewish community had gathered, triggering panic and chaos. Officials have identified two accused attackers, with Naveed Akram named as a key suspect. Australian agencies are examining all possible links, including the attacker’s background and overseas connections. The government has made it clear that those responsible will not be spared and strict action will be taken. Security has been tightened across Sydney and other major cities, especially around religious and public places. Leaders and community representatives have condemned the attack, calling it a tragic and shocking act of violence that will not be tolerated in Australia.
