This occurs in the midst of the current issue over the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) examination 2024, which led to complaints and protests when 67 students received a perfect score of 720 and 1563 candidates were given grace marks. The top court said on Tuesday that it will take serious action if it turned out that there was even a 0.001% mistake on the part of anyone conducting the NEET-UG 2024 exam. "Even if there is 0.001% negligence on the part of anyone, it should be thoroughly dealt with," Justices Vikram Nath and SVN Bhatti, sitting on vacation, urged the attorneys for the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Center.
