Murder Disguised as Accident: Police Uncover Selfie Trap and Axe Attack in Raghuwanshi Case | ABP NEWS
In a chilling turn of events, new revelations in the Raja Raghuwanshi murder case suggest a premeditated conspiracy far more complex than initially suspected. According to police sources, Raja’s wife Sonam, along with her alleged accomplice Raj Kushwaha, had planned to kill Raja by first pushing him off a cliff under the guise of taking a selfie. When that plan failed, an alternate plot was executed where Raja was allegedly attacked with an axe and thrown into a deep gorge. Sources say the initial goal was to make the murder appear as an accident. The investigation has now revealed that Sonam and Raj had long been involved in a calculated relationship with multiple murder plans, including a ‘widow remarriage’ plot. Shocking details also link the duo to hawala money transfers, with Sonam’s bank account reportedly used in suspicious financial dealings. Sonam was recently arrested and brought under heavy security from Patna to Shillong for questioning by the SIT. Four other accused — Raj, Akash, Vishal, and Anand — are also in police custody and being transported to Meghalaya. This case is rapidly unfolding as a multi-layered crime involving betrayal, planned execution, and possible financial crime.
