MONSOON UPDATES : Floods hit life in Prayagraj , Varanasi, over a 1000 villages affected in UP | Ground Report

Due to heavy rains and release of water from dams, 1,111 villages in 18 districts of Uttar Pradesh are in the grip of floods and thousands of hectares of crops have been affected. The situation is worse in Varanasi where cremation is facing a lot of difficulties due to submergence of ghats in water.
