Monsoon troubles Uttarakhand: Badrinath highway closed, Alaknanda river on spate

Heavy rains lashed parts of Uttrakhand. The Badrinath highway has been closed due to the monsoon. A number of chaar-dhaam yatra pilgrims are stranded enroute due to this.
