Monsoon In India: IMD Issues Heavy Rainfall Alert In Parts Of Maharashtra | ABP News

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a significant weather advisory, forecasting isolated instances of extremely heavy rainfall across several regions in the coming days. According to IMD's latest update, several areas, including Konkan and Goa, the Ghat regions of Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat, Coastal Karnataka, and South Interior Karnataka, will receive very heavy rainfall today. "Isolated extremely heavy rainfall is very likely over Konkan and Goa, the Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra, the Gujarat region, Coastal Karnataka, and South Interior Karnataka on July 16," said the IMD in a statement. The IMD has issued a red alert for isolated areas in Konkan, Goa, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, Saurashtra, Kutch, and Madhya Maharashtra.
