The portfolios of ministers have been divided in the Narendra Modi 3.0 government. Departments are allocated among the members of the Union Council of Ministers on the advice of the Prime Minister on behalf of the President. In the new NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the maximum number of ministers have been made from two states of the Hindi belt. After the allocation of ministries, it became clear that Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have got maximum representation in the new Council of Ministers. Like Modi 2.0, in 3.0, BJP has kept big ministries with itself, while NDA allies have been given other important ministries including MSME, Aviation Ministry, Heavy Industries.
