Mid-day meal row: Headmaster of school suspended, action will be taken, says Mirzapur DM

A three-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries after suffering burn wounds after she allegedly fell into a utensil which had freshly cooked mid-day meal at a school in Mirzapur. District Magistrate Sushil Kumar Patel said that the headmaster of the school has been suspended, while directions have been given to take required actions against the responsible people. "The Basic Education Officer has been asked to lodge an FIR. Action will be taken against the people responsible," the DM said.
