Consequently, the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 are drawing significant attention. All the parties in the state are gearing up and have begun preparations for the assembly elections. This includes workers' gatherings, party building, vetting candidates for the Legislative Assembly, and seat negotiations.

Chhagan Bhujbal, a leader of Ajit Pawar's NCP, stated that 80 seats should be secured in the grand alliance. The MNS has decided to directly challenge Thackeray and contest the Assembly. Similarly, Uddhav Thackeray has shown his readiness to contest the upcoming assembly elections independently.
