Mahakumbh 2025: Unprecedented Crowds at Kumbh as Pilgrims Arrive at Sangam on the 41st Day

ABP News Bureau   |  22 Feb 2025 09:54 AM (IST)

Today marks the 41st day of the Maha Kumbh, yet the number of devotees continues to break records, making it feel as though the festival has just begun. With the weekend approaching—Saturday today and Sunday tomorrow—the crowd at the Sangam is rapidly increasing. It is estimated that millions of pilgrims have already bathed today, with the number expected to surpass one crore by the end of the day. The constant flow of devotees at Sangam reflects the unwavering faith of the people, and the scene at the holy river has been like this for the past 41 days. With only five days left until the end of Maha Kumbh, authorities have set up additional measures to manage traffic, including dividing the area into sectors and zones. They aim to ensure smooth travel for pilgrims during the Mahashivaratri weekend and avoid traffic jams. The trains and stations are packed with devotees, indicating that even as the event nears its end, the enthusiasm remains at its peak.
