Lucknow shocker: Woman kills husband with lover’s help, both arrested after police uncover murder plot

In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, police have arrested a woman named Jyoti and her lover, Bacha Lal, for allegedly murdering her husband, Pradeep. According to officials, Bacha Lal was a close friend of the deceased and a frequent visitor to the couple’s house. Over time, he developed an illicit relationship with Jyoti. Police said that the two plotted to eliminate Pradeep due to his drinking habits and frequent quarrels. As part of the plan, Bacha Lal allegedly made Pradeep consume alcohol and later shot him near farmland. The incident was initially suspected to be accidental, but further investigation revealed it to be a deliberate act. Following interrogation, both Jyoti and Bacha Lal confessed to the crime. Police have recovered the weapon used in the murder and are continuing their probe to determine any additional involvement.
