The counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 is currently underway and the early trends, as projected by the Election Commission of India show that the Congress is leading on over 95 seats. This figure is almost double than the 52-seat mark, the grand old party achieved in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party as per the early trends has reached the 238-seat mark.
