Lok Sabha Election 2024: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Walks Out Of Jail After 50 Days For Election Campaign | ABPNews
After Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal walked out of Tihar jail after 50 days, would be visiting Connaught Place's Hanuman Temple on Saturday and hold a roadshow in South Delhi alongside his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann..The Supreme Court granted bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal until June 1 for Lok Sabha elections campaigning and has asked him to surrender on June 2.
The Supreme Court’s decision offers temporary relief to Kejriwal, who faced charges related to a money laundering case associated with the alleged excise policy scam. While the interim bail allows him to continue campaigning, he is required to surrender and return to jail on June 2.
The case pertains to allegations of corruption and money laundering in the formulation and execution of the Delhi government’s now-defunct excise policy for 2021-22.
